Burari Kitakawachi
We report shops, histric spot, etc. around the north-Kitakawachi area.
This time we reported around JR Shijonawate sta..

It will take about 3 minutes on foot from JR Gakkentoshi line, Shijonawate sta. to the Shijonawate shrine's Torii.
There are lots of stores on the street, from the station to torii.
As go straight for about 10 minutes, we can see a stairs to the Shijonawate
shrine in front, and in rightside, there is a cafe "Iseya" like the picture.
It's good that we take a rest before we have to go up a slope.
We can look at Iimori mountain over the right hand.

There is a steep stairs from the cafe.
The place where we've finished climbing is Shijonawate shirine.
In Shijonawate shrine, Masatsura Kusunoki and another 25's spirits
are enshrined. He was born at Chihaya Akasaka village in Osaka prefecture
as a Masanari Kusunoki's junior who took over from him.
He was called "Syounankou" as compared with Masanari,"Dainankou".
Both of them protected true emperor with being ready at a disadvantage,
and they are respected for the persons of high courage who pierced resolution.
In addition, Masatsura helped a lost enemy who fell down from a bridge
and was drowned. He treatmented him, gave him food and something he wear,
and let him go to Kyoto. We can hear Masatsura's such a gentle story.
There is a tree that was planted for Masatsura Kusunoki at the opposite to
Shijonawate shrine. It's 550 years old, and there is a tomb of Masatsura
Kusunoki next door to the tree.
The way from the station to the tree, they sell the specialty of Shijonawate.
It's a Japanese cake as big as about 13 centimeter diameter. The contents of cake
are double with small beans and yolk with white one.
It's light taste, so we might eat it whole.
We can get it in "Eikyudo Yoshimune".
And then we visited Shijonawate Municipal History Racial Material Museum
located going up to the north from JR Shijonawate sta..

It is displayed that historic furniture and antiques, or vessels made by
soil which discoveried at this city in Jomon, Yayoi piriod.

There are lots of relics in Shijonawate. It's collected the kind of vessels
made by soil or another which discoveried here.
Before the Kawachi plain was made, it's the osean around Shijonawate, they said.
